Artezen Hotel

The hotel is small and intimate with a very friendly staff that were great at giving suggestions on where to eat. Felt very secure as you had to use your keycard to access the elevator to your room and the staff had to give you access to the Hide restaurant. The room was spacious with luxurious linens and great water pressure in the shower that boasts of a Grohe’ shower head and hand-held body spray. The location was steps away from so many fun places to eat, two blocks from the underground mall and World Trade Center. Battery Park was a great walk as well as seeing Trinity Church and the famous bull on Broadway. We were there for the soft opening of ‘Hide’ the 20th and 21st floor restaurant - beautifully decorated with a very attentive staff. The lobster rolls are a must try!

Very lovely staff, the hotel was modern with a relaxing vibe thanks to a beautiful aromatic perfume throughout and the water feature upon entering reception.

Wonderful staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. We never left the hotel or entered the hotel without a warm greeting. The room was very quiet even though it was facing a road and was completely booked during our stay. We heard no one and nothing from outside. We needed a crib for our baby and I was surprised when a real crib showed up, not just a pack-n-play. Each day housekeeping even made up his little crib. Best hotel we have stayed in in the city, and probably the best in a long while anywhere. The train station is right outside your door. Green line straight to Midtown and Yankee Stadium, it was a breeze.

I never stay in a hotel when I am in NY for pleasure, but I wanted to treat my children to a nice hotel centrally located. The hotel was everything I wanted it to be: perfect location to all the main activities we had planned, literally the subway at your doorstep, the beds were almost TOO comfortable and the rooms clean. Staff was always friendly. The only small criticism is that the hotel could use a bit of a refresh: The furniture is quite dated and the carpet looks very old, but everything else was perfect. No city views, but it is located in a very dense part of the Financial District. All in all, we were so happy to have a clean, comfortable and friendly safe place to rest on hot 38C days!

I booked a "Petite Queen" size bedroom. A little small for 2 people, not much space to move, but decent. I'm glad the bed fit 2 people comfortably. I love the Nespresso machine inside the room & the one-time snacks they provided on the first day. Location is accessible to everything. Staff are friendly & pleasant... Although when we asked for assistance in booking airport transfer, there was a little miscommunication between the hotel staff and company which resulted in delay. In the end we just booked our own Uber car. There was also a day when the housekeeping didn't change our towels and glasses in the bathroom. Otherwise, everything was clean and orderly.
